I’ve Made The Digital Shift | Life Changed After Covid

Hey everyone! Welcome to my first blog post! You can call me Queen Oz, and I have just launched my own YouTube channel. I am excited to share MORE of Queen Oz with you, and ready to share all the ideas, challenges and inspirational content whirling around in my head!

I’m doing this for one reason — I want to inspire you to start YOUR journey. Right now. Bring those ideas to life and share them. Pursue your passion, may it be anything. Don’t listen to the naysayers because life is short, and you’ve only got one life to live!

(This video was filmed in March. I was going to upload this once I’ve taken care of everything and my ticket was booked. Meaning it’s official, official.)

My YouTube channel is about my journey in photography & videography, coding, fitness, entrepreneurship and, of course, my work in the gaming/tech industry. It’s a refreshing little side project for me to grow and document my journey, hopefully inspiring you to do the same.

Right now, the plan is to publish one/two videos a month. Ultimately, my goal is to have some fun. I’m happy that I’ve finally gone for it and started this fantastic journey. I’m excited to see what the rest of the year looks like for my channel.

Now, what feels like my entire life, I’ve known that I wanted to make videos. Heck, I studied business, but I continued to do photography and videography on the side. I would enter film festivals, and of course, found a way to include my passions into my day job as a business professional.

While working as a marketing coordinator with a UN division in Canada, I let them know of my photography & videography skills. Which led to an offer that I couldn’t refuse. I accepted an NYC trip to conduct interviews with CEOs during the UN Leaders Summit in 2018; it was a fantastic experience.

Now, believe it or not, I always wanted to be a programmer. I come from a long line of programmers in my family, and I even applied to the computer science program in university, but at the last minute, I switched to a business major.

Of course, my coding passion never went away, which is why I’m now learning Swift and working on my first app. This passion has also helped me in my job, as I work at a gaming company. Understanding how our app works is critical to success.

Now let me just say, I’m not much of a blogger, but I decided that moving forward, every YouTube video I upload will have a blog post along with it. This way, I can go more in-depth on the topics mentioned in my videos. This blog journey will also be a lot of trial and error, so please bear with me. Feel free to share your advice and message me on social media along the way! If photography/videography, coding, fitness, or entrepreneurship is your thing, consider subscribing!
